About the Journal

The Journal of Public Administration (JPA) is an academic journal in the field of public administration approved by the National Press and Publication Administration of China (ISSN 1674-2486 / CN 44-1648/D). It is supervised by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China and sponsored by Sun Yat-sen University. The journal is co-organized by the Center for Public Administration Research at Sun Yat-sen University—one of the Key Research Bases of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education—and the Guangdong Provincial Society of Administrative Management. JPA is published bimonthly, with each issue released on the 15th of every even-numbered month.
JPA is committed to: promoting rigorous and standardized research methodologies, improving the overall quality of public administration research; responding to practices of public governance and advancing the localization of public administration theory in China; engaging with cutting-edge developments in international public administration research and fostering constructive academic dialogue; promoting the public spirit and contributing to the advancement of public governance in China.
The Journal of Public Administration adopts a double-blind peer-review system.
